School’s Out – Tauriko currently provides after-school care for a small number of students whose parents require it. School’s Out will pick up your child/ren and look after them until you pick them up at their premises in Tauriko. Kiwi Tag (Ripper Rugby) is played in Term 1 & 4. Over the past few years we have had a Year 5 & 6 team play at the Otumoetai Eels Rugby League grounds against other teams. Being a small school we are limited to the number of sports we can play after school. If your child is passionate about a sport we recommend your get them involved in a local club. If your child is keen to join this Kiwi Tag team, please contact the school office.

Is your child shy? Do they feel intimidated by the idea of public speaking and performance? Do they sometimes find it difficult to make eye contact? Do they just need dedicated time per week to just be CRAZY?! Come and join the revolutionary self-confidence programme – Marrzipan! We run awesome classes after school at Tauranga Adventist School on Tuesdays, which focus on key life skills and public speaking ability. We play fun engaging games and perform at the end of term once to parents and once to the school. All scripts are original, engaging, educational and HILARIOUS. You can sign your child up for a Trial Lesson via our website.
For years our school has been blessed with musical staff and teachers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge with students at the school. Each Thursday our school band meets in our hub and practices worship songs together. The band then plays for our whole school worship each week and then again at special programmes the school does at our local Adventist Church or in the community. We welcome your child to be a part of this fantastic group.
