Welcome to Room 5’s page, we are a great bunch of Year 7/8’s with a great sense of humour, who try not to take ourselves too seriously.
We are big on owning our own learning, and we are particularly keen on managing ourselves as much as possible. Having choice in our learning is important to us and we are always ready to celebrate success, whether it’s ours or someone else’s.
We like to learn from our wider community so we are always keen to be adding to our learning with hands-on experiences and field trips. We are also excited to be incorporating Chrome Books as another of our tools for learning this year.
As the eldest in the school, we are determined to be great role models and we’re eager to develop further opportunities to show leadership within our school.
Learning about Jesus Christ our Saviour and growing our relationship with Him is a huge part of who we are and our prayer is that He uses us throughout this year to be a blessing and to serve our not only our school but our community.
